Parody Of Our Modern Church

This is true for a lot of churches today. I’m not saying that these things, or being “relevant” or “contemporary” is a bad thing. But, it’s certainly not what the point of church should be about. We shouldn’t focus so much on the music, lights, who’s wearing what, or if the preacher used enough images of babies and puppies to make us go “awe, I feel sorry for them”. What should be focused on is the message being conveyed from the Word of God and the Truth thereof. If we come to church just to fellowship with a cup of great coffee, then we’ve missed the point.
